First National Bank – Lee’s Summit, MO

Contract Amount:  $2,235,000

This new 3,700 square foot commercial banking facility includes two drive-thru lanes.  The glass and metal paneled structure incorporates accents of classic Roman travertine, granite and cherry wood.  This prototype has an open office concept that provides an appealing environment.  In April 2009, the American Institute of Architects, Chicago, awarded this project the Citation of Merit for Distinguished Buildings.

Central Bank Financial Center – Jefferson City, MO

Contract Amount:  $16,213,353

A joint-venture with McCarthy Brothers, a St. Louis-based construction company, this facility boasts a 63,000 square foot glass and steel office building.  This new construction features a two and one-half story structure incorporating “green” architecture and technology.  The energy efficient building has walls made entirely of specialty glass panels with a custom-fit design.  An extended shad structure protects users from summer light and heat, while still allowing winter sunlight to warm the building.  The entire building is set on a five-foot building module which allowed crews to line up the building components throughout the project.

Learfield Newsroom and Broadcast Booths – Jefferson City, MO

Contract Amount:  $342,903.99

Renovation included construction of seven production/on-air studios, and office space with new finishes, casework and soundproof glass.  One production/on-air studio has been converted into a talk-show studio which allows for round-table discussions.  The entire open office space received all new finishes and 14 custom data services desks.

Learfield Sports Expansion and Learfield Services – Jefferson City, MO

Contract Amount:  $1,146,835

Approximately 21,625 square feet of tenant improvements included nine production/ on-air studios, editing booths, an engineering terminal room, break rooms, copy/work rooms, open office space, and private offices.  The lower level sports expansion required special attention for soundproofing the production studio and announcing booths. The game-day stations resemble a basketball court.  The tenant was able to stay at full operations capacity during construction.

News Tribune Production Facility – Jefferson City

Contract Amount:  $6,874,788

New 40,000 square foot production facility contains a 183 ton state-of-the-art printing press system supported by a 30 inch thick concrete press table where fraction tolerances for spacing and leveling were critical.  Installation of a permanent bridge crane was essential for setting the system.  The exterior features a two-story glass front through which you can view the press from the outside.  The building also contains offices, a conference room, an ink pit, production area, elevator and loading dock.
