Keene Medical Building – Columbia, MO

3rd and 4th Floor Renovation

Contract Amount:  $1,645,700

Demolished interior portions, replaced with new medical gas, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems.  New finishes included casework, vinyl wall covering, carpet, sheet vinyl flooring, acoustical tile ceilings and wood wall and ceiling panels.

Boone Hospital Center Elevator Renovations – Columbia, MO

Contract Amount:  $2,139,315

Renovated existing elevators and installed two new elevators.   Phasing and coordination of the project was critical to maintain accessibility to all floors during renovation.

Columbia Regional Hospital, Children’s Hospital 5th Floor Renovation – Columbia, MO

Contract Amount:  $3,169,700

Renovation included approximately 25,900 square feet on the 5th floor and the two penthouses for new mechanical equipment.  Work included demolition of walls, ceilings, flooring, door and frames, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and miscellaneous items.  Architectural work included new drywall and steel stud walls, doors, frames, hardware, painting, acoustical ceilings, casework, floor and wall finishes.  New and reused plumbing fixtures, medical gas system, ductwork and HVAC equipment, new light fixtures, electrical devices, fire alarm system and wiring.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit converted to Burn Intensive Care Unit – University of Missouri – Columbia, MO

Contract Amount:  $2,756,700

Complete renovation and conversion of 17,150 square feet of the existing Neonatal ICU suite on the 7th floor of the Critical Care Addition and reconstruction of a new Burn ICU Unit.  New electrical, plumbing and HVAC equipment was installed to accommodate this new facility that utilizes 14 patient rooms, treatment room, operating room, preparation/recovery room, rehabilitation space, waiting area and associated support space.  New unit clerk stations were also constructed.

Boone Hospital Center Retail Outpatient Pharmacy, Medical Records and Outpatient Recovery – Columbia, MO

Contract Amount:  $228,392

This project was part of a multiple phase of work during a 120 day period which included the retail outpatient pharmacy, medical records and outpatient recovery area.  The space was designed to facilitate a new retail outpatient pharmacy and reconstructing existing patient rooms into office space and remodeling of several intake office areas in the surgical preparation and outpatient recovery area.  This work required a high level of coordination with hospital staff, infectious control and patients to ensure a safe environment throughout all phases of construction.

Projects - Healthcare

St. Mary’s Operating Room and Gastroenterology Renovation – Jefferson City, MO

Contract Amount:  $1,215,920

This project included the renovation of two separate areas of the first floor of St. Mary’s Hospital.  The OR portions included demolition then replacement with a new operating room, lab space, storage, offices, restrooms and a renovated recovery area.  The GI portion included demolition of existing office space to make way for new patient preparation/holding rooms, nurses station, storage, treatment areas, physician locker room and restrooms.
