
Jefferson City Regional Water Reclamation Facility Improvements – Jefferson City, MO

SIRCAL Contracting is constructing a new Ultra-Violet Filtration Facility for the plant to meet the new Department of Natural Resources regulations becoming effective later this year. The UV facility will add an additional final step in the water treatment process to further purify the effluent discharge water from the plant. SIRCAL Contracting will also be lining the existing 54-inch pipe from the plant to the Missouri River and constructing a new outfall structure on the Missouri River at the end of the 54-inch discharge pipe. A large bypass pumping system will be installed to divert the plant water discharge temporarily in order to complete this work.

General Site – New Utility Tunnel from Power Plant to Maryland Avenue – University of Missouri - Columbia
Contract Amount: $16,636,000
This project consisted of the installation of new campus utility distribution systems and retrofits to the power plant’s turbine extraction steam system. Demolition, site work, structural, mechanical and electrical work were all a part of this project.

Truesdale Coca-Cola Wastewater Clarifiers & Sludge Basins – Warrenton, MO
Contract Amount: $1,600,066 and $615,500
This project included modifying the wastewater treatment facility by constructing a new splitter box and two new twenty-five foot diameter clarifiers with side water depths of 12 feet of below-grade, cast-in-place concrete construction. Two new sludge basins with 60 foot square sludge basins with 10 foot-6 inch tall walls were constructed. New diffuser equipment was installed in both basins along with telescoping valves. A sludge holding pit was also constructed.

Patient Care Tower, Utility Relocation – University of Missouri - Columbia
Contract Amount: $1,026,400
SIRCAL Contracting installed a new steam tunnel and chases around the building footprint of the new University of Missouri Patient Tower. These new structures will serve as the infrastructure for the relocation of the new steam lines and other utilities around the perimeter of the new tower. SIRCAL installed approximately 260 feet of 12 foot by 8 foot reinforced concrete steam tunnel and 390 foot reinforced concrete steam chase that varied in size. Interior renovations were performed in the Critical Care and Mason Eye areas in the hospital. Performance of this work required maintaining a clean environment so the hospital could continue to remain operational without interruptions in these critical areas.

ALPLA Manufacturing Facility Expansion – Jefferson City, MO
Design/build project consisted of expanding the existing facility by 42,000 square feet. Structure consists of geo-pier reinforced concrete foundations and structural steel. Exterior skin includes concrete block, 4-inch insulated metal wall panels and an EDPM (synthetic rubber) roof. The floor plan includes a 1,200 square foot mezzanine and 12,000 square feet of production area, overhead doors, aluminum windows and a 120-foot overhead bridge crane.
