ABOUT US

Sircal Contracting, Inc. is a family-owned commercial construction company founded in 1992 by the late Al Hentges and his son Chris. Sircal has completed a wide variety of projects for owners all over Central Missouri. We take pride in building high-quality, long-lasting, beautiful facilities; on time and within budget. Our managers, staff and builders bring countless hours of experience to every project. Many have been in the industry for more than 25 years, enabling them to apply valuable knowledge and expertise during all phases of a construction project; giving the owner peace of mind that every detail will be done right.

In August of 2019, Sircal Contracting became an Employee Stock Ownership Plan company, giving the employees ownership interest in the company.

WHAT WE DO

Our managers and staff are professionals; educated in construction, engineering, project management, carpentry, concrete and many other facets of the building process. They are always looking for ways to improve, to learn new techniques, new management strategies and software and more effective ways to streamline and make it easier for owners to get the very best results for the lowest possible cost.

Some of Sircal’s projects have included restoration and additions to historic buildings on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus, including Switzler Hall, Swallow Hall and Walter Williams Hall. We have also completed joint venture projects on two cornerstone buildings in Jefferson City: Central Bank’s Financial Center and Capitol Region Medical Center’s recent expansion. We have built and remodeled elementary schools, high schools and numerous projects on the University of Missouri campuses in Columbia and Rolla, as well as many facilities at Lincoln University and Linn State Technical College.

Hospital renovations and additions have become a specialty through projects at Keene Medical Building, Boone Hospital, Columbia Regional Hospital, University Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and Capitol Region Medical Center.

A few of the private projects SIRCAL had the pleasure of building include several renovations at Learfield Communications in Jefferson City, the Missouri State Capitol Building’s Governor’s Office and Senate Chamber, Riley Chevrolet’s Toyota Dealership, Putnam Chevrolet’s Dealership and Maplewood Barn Community Theater.

SIRCAL often goes where some other companies may not want to go…underground. We have completed projects included steam and utility tunnels at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and waste-water treatment facilities in several central Missouri locations. These projects aren’t always pretty, but they are always necessary and important to keep cities, colleges, and industries functioning.

Please visit our projects tab to see more specific projects and get an idea of the scope and breadth of our capabilities.
